Portrait Practice

Oh my, I haven't drawn a single portrait since 2011. I suck.

I felt the need to draw one again at least. The model is (as usual) Betty Bronson ( www.bellazon.com/main/uploads/… ) but I altered a lot of things, so it isn't an exact replica of the picture. The drawing took about 2 hours to do (with a lot of pauses, this has been a very hot day and I can't handle the heat...) including some final touches in Photoshop.

Guh, I need to draw more of these. I need to practice realism! Even if my head hurts with all the proportions and shadows.
